We designed a method to evaluate alpacas objectively based upon measurable traits for purchase, breeding, show worthy, and herd assessment. The core is designed around a couple of spreadsheets to score and tabulate individual alpacas or a herd but can be tailored to address specific needs of beginners or experienced alpaca owners or soon to be owners alike. We have no experience with Suri so this is designed principally for Huacaya but can be cross-referenced for either.
