Millie's fleece has great "hand". It just feels great, and that's why we picked her. Her fleece was 22.2 micron at the last shearing with a staple length of almost 7 inches. Very nice fiber production while growing a 20 lb cria. Then a little research into her lineage showed she is a Accoyo Crown Royale granddaughter. It's so reassuring to find great genetics behind the beautiful fleece. She has proven with her 4 crias that she is a great mom. Kristina was 20 lbs at birth and gained 15 lbs in the first 30 days. Just like the book says. Cria number #2 is a beautiful light fawn girl--a 25 pounder and another easy delivery....

As soon as we saw this beautiful boy glistening in the sun on his birth day, we knew the only name for him was September Sun Shine. He is tall and stands squarely on his straight legs. He holds his head high proudly and his fleece is dense and curly on his well-proportioned body. Sunny was biopsied at 20 months of age and shows tight symmetrical fiber clusters. The density is 90 follicles SQ MM of skin with an average S/P from 25 fiber clusters of 11.1 to 1. Sunny shows level 3 of 4 glands with only 30% secondary medullated fibers. This shoud equate to nice luster as well as excellent handle. 100 secondary fibers averaged 16.1 microns and 50 promary fibers averaged 22.1 microns for a variation of 6 microns. These stats are in the top 0.5% of suris evaluated. He also has TRIAD fiber clusters on his skin biopsy that are highly genetic. Cordillero's offspring have lustrous,thick fleece with exceptional lock structure, excellent conformation and coverage. Cordi's first offspring "The Fawnz" has won 1st Place in his class and Grand Champion in Color Class. That was the description of Cordy as a young herdsire. Since then he has "proven" himself over and over. At nearly 11 he has maintained his fleece to an incredible degree. Put a halter on him and he prances and poses like he is still in the ring.
